Dr. Solomon is an Assistant Professor Teaching Stream in the Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development at OISE at the University of Toronto.. She holds a PhD from the University of St. Andrews in the United Kingdom. She did postdoctoral research at the University of Chicago and was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Prior to coming to OISE she was a Health Systems Research Scientist in the Department of Psychiatry at the Hospital for Sick Children. She is interested in the application of research on math learning and teaching in the classroom setting.
