BIO

Dr. Marshall Korenblum is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and serves as the Staff Psychiatrist at the Sick Kids Centre for Community Mental Health in Toronto. He has over 40 years of experience in the field of child psychiatry. For more than ten years, Dr. Korenblum served as the Division of Child Psychiatry's Director of Postgraduate Education at the University of Toronto. For two years, he also served as the Chairman of the Canadian Academy of Child Psychiatry's Education Committee. In addition to working at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Hospital for Sick Children, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, he consults for several children's mental health facilities. Dr. Korenblum has a special interest in mood disorders in adolescence and has published widely in the area of personality development in adolescence. He is an award-winning teacher and a staunch advocate of public education.
