BIO

Dr. Marshall Korenblum is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. He has 45 years of experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. For more than ten years, Dr. Korenblum served as the Division of Child and Youth Mental Health Director of Postgraduate Education at the University of Toronto. For two years, he also served as the Chairman of the Canadian Academy of Child Psychiatry's Education Committee. He retired from clinical practice in June, 2024, but he continues to consult, supervise, and teach. Dr. Korenblum has a special interest in mood disorders in adolescence and has published widely in the area of personality development in adolescence. He is an award-winning teacher and a staunch advocate of public and professional education.  He has recently been a Group Facilitator for the OMA's Peer Mentorship Pilot Project, and is a member of the Expert Panel of the Advocacy Forum of the Division of Child/Youth Mental Health.
