Peter Nkansah

Dr. Nkansah received both his DDS degree and Diploma in Dental Anaesthesia from the University of Toronto in 1993 and 1996 respectively. He now maintains a private practice at Sleep For Dentistry in Toronto, specializing in sedation dentistry for dentally anxious or medically compromised patients. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. Peter is a Course Director for the conscious sedation continuing dental education course at Western University (Canada) and for Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support courses at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He is a member of the editorial board for the dental journal Oral Health. He is also a regular lecturer for dental groups nationally and internationally. On the sports front, one of his other areas of interest, Peter is the team dentist for the Toronto Raptors of the NBA, the Raptors905 of the G-League, the Toronto FC of the MLS, and the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.
