Andrew Woolley is a Professor of the Department of Chemistry at the Universtiy of Toronto. He is seeking to find general strategies for the photo-control of peptide and protein structure – and thereby activity. In doing so, his group is gaining fundamental knowledge about protein conformation, folding, and dynamics. They also develop powerful tools for the analysis of complex biochemical systems.
