BIO
Mary Ann Fegan is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream with the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto and the Undergraduate Coordinator, Year 2. Mary Ann is a paediatric nurse who has developed expertise in neonatal intensive care, teaches U of T Nursing’s Introduction to Nursing Care of Children and Families course.
The Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing recognized her ability to stimulate critical thinking and foster nursing scholarship with a Creative Teaching Award. She also won the Gail J. Donner Award for Excellence in Nursing Education. Her interests include everything from the validity of online assessments to nursing students’ preferences for eight- or 12-hour shifts, and the use of innovative Technology in the Classroom.
