Carmina Ravanera is a Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Gender and the Economy, University of Toronto. Her work focuses on equitable and sustainable economies, including topics such as care work, racial equity, and gender-based violence. Carmina's writing has appeared in The Toronto Star, Policy Options, Corporate Knights, and Rotman Management Magazine, among others, and she has been featured by the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, Forbes, and other media in Canada and around the world. She is the co-author of "A Feminist Recovery Plan for Canada: Making the Economy Work for Everyone," the first national feminist economic recovery plan from COVID-19, and co-hosts and co-produces "Busted," a podcast debunking myths that hamper the progress of equity and equality.
