Laura Ingallinella is Assistant Professor of Italian Studies at the University of Toronto and is affiliated with the Renaissance Program at Victoria College. Her research focuses on the intersection of identity politics, literature, and manuscript cultures in premodern Italy, and her work has appeared in I Tatti Studies in the Renaissance, Forum Italicum, Bibliotheca Dantesca, Medioevo Romanzo, and ACMRS's The Sundial. Dr. Ingallinella is completing her first monograph, “Nations of the Book: Trade, Travel, and Transcultural Literacy in the Early Renaissance (1350–1500),” and is now beginning a second book project on race, gender, and imperialism in Renaissance Italian drama.
