Zahra Shakeri

Zahra Shakeri is an Assistant Professor of Health Informatics and Information Visualization at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Prior to this, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Gehlenborg Lab in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School. From 2019-2021 she was a postdoctoral associate in health informatics at the University of Calgary in Canada, where she received her PhD from. Dr. Shakeri received her MSc and BSc in Software Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology and Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran. Her research centers on information visualization, health informatics, precision (public) health, digital health, and social media analysis.
