BIO

Dr. Spencer Barrett is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. He obtained his B.Sc. (Honours) from the University of Reading and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. The Barrett Lab studies the evolutionary transitions in plant reproductive systems, ecology and evolution of plant mating, function and adaptive significance of floral variation, gender strategies, sex ratios & sex chromosome evolution, and evolution and genetics of invasive species.
