BIO

Markus Stock is a professor in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures and the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto. Markus Stock held visiting professorships at the University of Freiburg (2008) and Harvard University (2009) as well as several Research Fellowships at the University of Freiburg (2012, 2017, and 2019); he also was an Erasmus Mundus Scholar at the Universities of Porto and Palermo (2013/14). He is the President of the Canadian Association of University Teachers of German.
