BIO
Julie Kerekes is an Associate Professor in Language and Literacies Education in the Department of Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Prof. Kerekes examines language and power in conversational and intercultural institutional settings. She teaches courses in discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, second language acquisition, linguistics for language educators, workplace communication, and supporting English learners.
