Research Description

 

I write for both the academic and popular press. My peer-reviewed scholarship has appeared in Modern American HistoryAmerican Studies, Digital Humanities Quarterly, Feminist Media Studies, The Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism, and University of Pennsylvania Press edited collection, Surveillance Capitalism in America. My popular writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Globe and MailThe Literary Review of Canada and The Conversation. Many of these pieces have been widely reprinted.
