BIO

I study marketing, advertising, and branding. I am interested in how these marketing, advertising, and branding outputs get taken up by different constituencies. My research follows how they become tools for seeing, understanding, and making sense of our lives.

I teach courses on these matters (and more!) at the University of Toronto's Institute of Communications, Culture, Information and Technology.
