Francois Pitt is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Computer Science, in the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto. In recent years, François has overseen the development, approval, and deployment of a new undergraduate program in Data Science, jointly offered by the Departments of Computer Science and Statistical Sciences. He has also served the department as its Associate Chair, Undergraduate from July 2015 to December 2018, shepherding the department through a period of unprecedented growth in undergraduate enrolment.
