Kathy Vu is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream and Director of the PharmD for Pharmacists Program. She completed her BScPhm from the University of Toronto, followed by a PharmD from the University of Colorado. She went on to complete her hospital pharmacy residency at the University Health Network. Kathy also recently completed her MScPH in Health Practitioner Teacher Education. Her area of clinical expertise is in oncology and health systems approach to delivering safe and high quality care to cancer patients. She has held many leadership roles throughout her career including Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner at St. Michael’s Hospital, provincial Clinical Lead for Safety Initiatives and Program Manager for the Systemic Treatment Program at Cancer Care Ontario. She continues to hold the position of provincial Clinical Lead, Safety and academic lead for the Essentials of Oncology and Advanced Oncology Programs through the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto.
