Dr. Kishen is involved in teaching Endodontics for the DDS and MSc (Endodontics) Program. He also teaches in the Graduate Course on Advanced Dental Biomaterials.

Dr. Kishen has trained more than 100 highly qualified personnels, including supervising more than 8 postdoctoral fellows (PDF), 15 PhD, 25 MSc, and several exchange as well as undergraduate students as Primary Supervisor.

His trainees were successful in obtaining personal funding under his supervision. They have consistently published their work in high-impact scientific journals and won awards. Kishen lab trainees have all been very successful in their chosen academic/research/industrial careers after completing their programs.

Kishen lab research students come from different backgrounds. Ex: Material Science, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Dentistry. This provides a highly multidisciplinary research culture in the lab.
