Dr. Krueger is a PhD level epidemiologist/health services researcher with extensive experience conducting community-based, practice-based and facility-based research related to primary care, quality of work life/job satisfaction, long-term care, palliative care, and public health. He has taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate level research methods and critical appraisal courses and has an expertise in survey methods, questionnaire design, implementation and data analysis. Dr. Krueger was an Associate Professor and Associate Director, Research Program, Department of Family and Community Medicine (DFCM) for 11.5 years and also held a cross-appointment with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Dr. Krueger also held faculty positions (Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor) with the Department of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics, McMaster University for 19 years which included holding the positions: Senior Research Associate with the St. Joseph’s Health System Research Network (11 years); and Epidemiologist/Health Analyst for the Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Public Health Department (5 years). Dr. Krueger is currently an Associate Professor Emeritus with the DFCM where he has continued to be involved in various research projects, mentoring activities, and committees. He is now retired/self-employed and is available for (remote) research consultations and teaching research methods courses. His primary interests relate to observational study designs, survey methods, questionnaire design, implementation and data analysis.
