Richard Volpe is Projects Director of Life Span Adaptation Projects at the Laidlaw Research Centre of the Dr. Eric Jackman Institute of Child Study, and Professor in the Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. His research examines issues related to health and prevention science, especially for children. Prof. Volpe teaches courses in child and adolescent development, as well as in preventative interventions of children at risk of abuse.
